Again, Gas Explosion Rocks In Abeokuta, Injures Three

ABEOKUTA — Barely twenty-four (24) hours after a gas explosion killed two in Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta another explosion just took place at a Chinese Construction Company in Onikoko an area in Onikoko, Abeokuta South and exploded to St Loius secondary school, where the straplet tears off a teacher's left breast, injured two other company workers.

An anonymous worker to journalists and the investigative team that they have not started working on the caterpillar they want to use the gas for before it exploded.

Meanwhile the Ogun state government had been on the investigation of the cause of explosion. While questioning the worker he told the team where he got the cylinder from a dealer in Ibara area which led them to Ajuwon Industrial Company along Old Lagos/Abeokuta express way.

In the cause of investigation,it was discovered that the said company has been registered and had attended to 14 dealers today.

But the investigative team led by commissioner for Environment Hon Francis Ogunbanwo and Commissioner for Police had order that the company be sealed up.
