The Chairman, Ogun State Printing Corporation Board, Sola Otesile, has promised quality and timely service delivery to all the customers of the Corporation.

This is made known during a courtesy visit paid to the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu on Friday, 9th April, 2021. According to Otesile, Ogun State Printing Corporation has been in existence for over thirty eight years and it is still capable of good service delivery to her customers. “Ogun State Printing Corporation, contrary to insinuation in some quarter, is not dead.

We are still in the service of quality printing. It is a known fact that no printing company can meet the printing needs of all her customers and therefore there is need to carve a niche”, Otesile said. “As a Corporation, we have identified the areas of our strength and are determined at pursuing it vigorously”, Otesile stated further.

The Chairman who assured the Commissioner that he would live above board to meet his words with action in terms of quality and timely job delivery also said he would not take any job that the Corporation is not capable of doing. The Chairman sought for collaboration with the ministry in producing branded exercise books for flagship schools in the State at a competitive price. He also sought the patronage of the ministry and other higher institutions in the State especially in the production of answer booklets for BECE, unified examinations and for the use of higher institutions. He said the patronage will make more people believe in the Corporation.

Responding, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, commended the good move of the Chairman and promised to always give the Corporation the first refusal opportunity in the entire ministry’s printing job. He advised the Corporation not to relent in the effort of restoring the lost glory that the Corporation is known for in time past.
