ABEOKUTA--  As the race for the 2023 general elections hots up in Ogun State, several options have been thrown up to serve as alternative to the present administration of Prince Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

One of such alternatives is an astute son of the soil, Mr Olufemi Solola. Though based in the United Kingdom, but his knowledge of happenings in the political climate of the state cannot be over-emphasized.

Born 21 January 1967, Solola attended Ebenezer African church primary school, Ibadan from 1972 to 1978. He then proceeded to the African Church Grammar school, Abeokuta between1978 and 1984

Solola gained admission to the Ogun state polytechnic, Abeokuta in 1984 1986, then to the Ogun state university, Ago iwoye between 1986 and 1990, while at the Dream Harvest College, London in 2004

His work experience started in the teaching profession with the Lagos State Ministry of Education as a secondary school teacher between 1990 and 2002.

Solola also served as a Metropolitan Police Community support officer between the year 2007 to 2011

He is presently a security and intelligence officer, London and Nigeria and happily married with children.

Part of his agenda is to provide gainful employment for Ogun State indigenes, and ensure adequate security of lives and properties of the good people of Ogun state.
Integrity, empathy, resourcefulness and good governance are his core values.

"Civil servants’ salaries will be paid and all their entitlements will be promptly given.”

"Our government will robustly support the use of digital technologies in all aspects of ogun state's life.”

"I will create by God's grace, the ogun state where nobody doesn't need to know or bribe anyone, in order to get what he or she legally needs" stated Olufemi Solola.
