Police Rescue Amebo Reporter, Others From Armed Robbers On Benin Expressway

After engaging the expressway robbers in a fierce battle, Men of the Nigeria Police Force Antirobbery Squad Rescued Amebo Reporter, Olayiwola Ibrahim, Others On Benin Expressway today.

Reports has it that the reporter from Amebo Feeds Tv, Olayiwola Ibrahim and his friend Yusuf who were traveling from Lagos to Benin for a wedding was attacked by armed robbers who presented themselves as road-side mechanics.

According to Ibrahim, the robbers placed themselves in some part of the express road indicating to drivers that their car tyre were faulty. This directing us to a nearby mechanic who were working together.

He explained that another Lexus jeep was also attacked along side with them before the police came to rescue them. 

The police from Edo State Crack Squad led by an officer who already knew their skills in robbing people while parading through the express road saw what was going on and intercepted with exchange of gun with the mechanics robbers. 

The head of the Anti-Robbery Squad,  advice all drivers passing through Benin Ore road their cars are in good condition before embarking on journey to avoid these dare devils.

Also, the team leader added that the government should provide basic amenities, good welfare and insurance facilities for the police in order to fight insurgency or cases like this.

Ibrahim commended the Nigeria police force who came at the right time to reascue them from the armed robbers.

Meanwhile he advise the commuters, driving along that axis to be very vigilant on the expressway.
