Ibadan – One Yinka Ramon was allegedly shot dead on Monday, 15th February 2021, in a fresh attack by unknown persons, suspected to be hired assassins at Meco village in the Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.

We gathered that the attackers, numbering four, came few months after similar attacks occurred, where they were allegedly targeting one Olufemi Adekunle Adewale, who escaped the village, before the arrival of the attackers.

A villager, who spoke off records, said attackers arrived the village on that fateful Monday to allegedly killed Yinka and Olufemi, for reasons that could be political.

According to another source, Olufemi may have been the target following his involvement in exposing a fraud by some political figures in Nigeria, and this has compelled him to go into hiding for his dear life.

Unconfirmed report has it that the hunt for Olufemi also forced him to resign as a civil servant in Ogun State, since his life was in danger and he was said to be planning to travel out of Nigeria.
