Breaking: CP Edward Ajogun Retained As Ogun CP

There is indication that CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun has been retained as CP Ogun Command in a police wireless message dated 17/02/2021, with reference number, DTO: 121600/02/2021

Meanwhile, Ogun CP is among nine other Commissioners of Police, whose postings were ordered by the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu on 12th of February 2021.

According to the police signal, Ajogun who has earlier been posted to the Police Staff College (PSC) Jos would return to his formal duty post in Police Force Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta Ogun State.

The posting, according to the wireless message, is with immediate effect.

It will be recalled that Ajogun was deployed to Ogun State in June 2020 and retained back on 17th of February 2021.

Ajogun took over from Kenneth Ebrimson, who retired from the police service at that time.
