Burial Arrangement For Veteran Journalist, Biodun Oguntoyinbo Released By Family

The family of late veteran Broadcaster and Journalist, Mr Biodun Odetoyinbo have announced the funeral arrangements of his burials.

The activities which is scheduled to last for two days will commence from Wednesday 13th through Thursday 14th January 2021.

The program which will commence with a lying in state of the deceased at his residence, No 2 Oke - Ibukun , Abiola way Abeokuta from 3 to 4:30 pm on Wednesday 13th January shall be followed by the Christian wake keep service by 5 in the evening at the same premises.

On Thursday January 14 , there will be a Requiem mass in honor of the deceased at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, itesi in Abeokuta by 11 in the mornings .

Interment of the deceased shall follow immediately after the service at the Church Cemetery.

Mr Biodun Odetoyinbo began his Broadcasting career in 1981 the same year Ogun State Television was established and retired from the service of the television station on reaching the mandatory age of sixty years as the stations AGM Marketing in 2016.

Mr Biodun Odetoyinbo was among the Journalist that were assigned to Ikeja residence of the late Business Man turned Politician Bashorun MKO Abiola who was the acclaimed Winner of June 12 1993 Presidential elections, to cover the day to day happening from his residence, due to aftermaths event that follow the annulment of the election , which was believed to be the freest and peaceful elections in the history of Nigeria as a Nation.

He also serves as the moderator of a Popular program on Ogun State Television OGTV, a which showcases the senior citizens of the country , titled reminiscence.

The last major public outing which he attended in company of his Wife was the wedding ceremony of the Daughter of the Commandant of Ogun State So - Save Corps, Commander Soji Ganzalo , where he served as the chairman of the wedding reception.

Mr Biodun Odetoyinbo died at the age of sixty four . May his gentle soul continue to rest in peace.
