His Royal Majesty (HRM), Oba Nojeemdeen Alani Eyiowuawi-Adebari Ilufemiloye Obayemi (Obanla 1) Oniro of Iro-Igbein Egbaland has debunked the earlier report from News across online medium on his suspension as paramount ruler of Iro Kingdom.

Oba Nojeemdeen through Chief Sunday Oliyide, Secretary, Oleyo Ruling House said the letter from Ministry of Chieftancy Affairs directing his suspension based on the court ruling of 2017 between the ruling house of Oleyo  is nothing but misinterpretation of court order, " Our ruling house, Oleyo and Apetumata house engaged ourselves during the time of who to assume the leadership position of Iro-land which led to court proceedings and the court injunction was appealed accordingly, The Apetumata ruling house charged Obafemi Owode Local Government to court before the installation of Oba Nojeemdeen Alani as the new Oniro but later lost the battle in court.

The three ruling house of Iro-land are Oleyo, Apetumata and Eribi ruling house where Eribi was the house who produced the late Oba that joined his ancestors in 2012 and the kingmakers voted for Nojeemdeen Alani from Oleyo ruling house being the next house to become the Oniro of Iro according to gazette.

I have been enjoying all my entitlement since 2014 as the duly elected King of Iro-land.' Said Oba Nojeemdeen Alani

"To my utmost surprise, the case which was attended last month November 30th at Appeal Court in Ibadan while adjournment was pronounced by the judge to be February 15th 2021 for further hearing, This case is the same one the Chieftancy Ministry is leveraging on, based on political undertone by one Niyi Edun a close ally to Hon Afolabi Afuape, the commissioner of that Ministry using the power that be to stop my salary and entitlements as a monarch in Ogun.

"Kabiyesi, requested for reasons behind the stoppage of his salary and entitlement from Ogun State Government through our lawyer, Deji Eniseyin which we have not seen any response which made us sue the Ministry of Chieftaincy to High Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State." Said Oliyide

"We hereby urge the good people of Ogun state to disregard my sack as Oniro of Iro, the case is in court and the further hearing is pronounced to be 15th of February 2021 at the Appeal Court  Ibadan." - Oniyide added.

Also, he called on Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun to wade into the issue before some element of destruction put a stain to his good governance as the best Governor in Nigeria through removal of Monarch without due process.
