I have pardoned Hoodlums who looted my Palace - Oba of Lagos

The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, said he has forgiven those who looted his palace in Iga Idunganran, Lagos Island, during the violence that trailed the #EndSARS protest.

Oba Akiolu said during the inauguration of the Lagos City Centre established by the Lagos Island East Local Government Area.

A statement said the traditional ruler insisted that nobody could dethrone him, adding that his ascension to the stool was the wish of God for his life.

He was also said to have commended the council for the initiative and urged the authorities to invest more in youth empowerment.
