Arabambi To Take Over As IPAC Interim Chairman In Ogun

Abeokuta - The labour party chairman in Ogun State, Comrade Abayomi Arabambi is set to take over as interim chairman of Intra Party Advisory Council in Ogun State after the tenure expiration of Asiwaju Adedamola Adesina on 5th of December 2020.

According to the letter signed by Chief Ralph Nwosu, Acting National Chairman and Hon. Adekunle Rauf Igi-Aje the National Secretary of IPAC, dated 20th of November 2020 directed Comrade Arabambi and 12 others to fill the vacuum of the council till another election is being conducted.

Meanwhile, after today's meeting in Abeokuta, the 18 out of 40 chairmen of the council voted against the letter imposing Arabambi on them as Interim Chairman.

" I urge the members to imbibe in tranquility and sincerity as I appreciate Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun for giving room to intra party affairs in the state, the 18 party chairmen has voted against the national decision to make Arabambi and 12 others to head the interim government in IPAC as i remain the authentic chairman of the council till the next election commencement." said Asiwaju Abdul-Lateef Adesina
