No fewer than two people has been reportedly dead, while five paseenger fatally injured in the Abeokuta-Sagamu expressway autocrash.
According to Adekoya A A Rescue Squad, Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency TRACE, The crash happened at Foursquare Camp inbound Abeokuta along interchange Abeokuta involving unidentified runway truck and a Mazda bus white colour with Reg no LND 539 XV and Lexus Car GS350 with reg. Number AAA298GK.
The Lexus car was said to have wrongfully overtook the Mazda Bus thereby resulting to the Bus colliding with the Unidentified Runaway Truck according to eye witness.
The bus conveying 16 passenger (9 and 7 female) leaving 5(2 male, 3 Female) fatally injured and 2 male ( the driver of bus and front passenger) dead instantly.
The injured victims were rescued to State Hospital Ijaye for medical treatment while the corpse are also at state hospital mortuary
Flow of traffic affected before but now normalcy had been restored after the accidented vehicles taken to State MTD
