The Minister of Finance and Budget and National planning, Mrs Zaniab Ahmed has announced that the sum of 250,000 to N5 Million Naira would be made accessible to each youth coming from the newly created Federal Government's 75bn enterprenuial support Fund.
This,according to the Minister is a fund created by her Ministry as an effort to yearn to the issues of EndSARS protest and also address other social menace alledged to be perpetuated youth across the country.
A whopping sum of N250,000 to N5Million is expected to be transfered into selected account who met up with the required criteria.
Also, the criteria to be used will be dependent of business idea, business proposal and the repayment plan of each benefiting youth.
However, ever since the scheme was launched in October, Federal Government has announced that over one million applications have been received.
This was disclosed through the official Twitter handle of President Muhammed Buhari.
"over a Million applicants have already been recieved since the N75 Billion Naira Nigeria Youth Investment fund Portal went live on October 21,2020".
"This Fund will be used to invest in the innovative ideas, skills and yound talent of Nigerian youth" Buhari said.
