Nigeria Computer Society NCS Honours Nathaniel Olusola Otesile With Professional Fellowship

The Board Chairman, Ogun State Printing Corporation Board, Hon Nathaniel Olusola Otesile, has been conferred with a professional fellowship of the Nigeria Computer Society. The conferment took place on Thursday, 26th November, 2020 during the National Information Technology Merit Award, an event to recognize and celebrate excellence and commitment in Information Technology profession. 

During the conferment of the most prestigious professional fellowship, the President of the Society, Professor Adesina Sodiya, FNCS described Sola Otesile and other new fellows as deserving members of Nigeria Computer Society who are recognized as authorities and have distinguished themselves through significant contributions to the growth of Information Technology.





Sola Otesile, a Chartered Information Technology professional, was appointed Chairman of Ogun State Printing Corporation Board by His Excellency, Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, MFR on Tuesday, 17th November, 2020. He holds Master degree in Physics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education. Skilled in instrumentation, systems engineering, networking, database administration, education quality assurance, and data analysis, Sola worked with Nigeria Online Limited, Starcomms Limited and Cell Communications Limited where he helped set up the IT and Billing Department in 2002. He joined Ogun State Civil Service in 2004 where he resuscitated the Ogun State Computer Education Programme in 2004. He became the Ogun State Coordinator of the Computer Education Programme and Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists (JETS) Club in 2005. He was also Ogun State Coordinator for IntelTeach Skills for Success as well as the coordinator for MTN SchoolsConnect project in Ogun State. Through IntelTeach Skills for Success, Sola is noted to have trained the highest number of teachers compared to other state coordinators in Nigeria. He voluntarily retired in 2018 to venture into private business.
