Nigerian music icon, Ayodeji Balogun professionally known as Wizkid, has revealed how his father greatly influenced his sense of fashion and style.
He said his father, Alhaji Muniru Olatunji Balogun inspired him and made him fall in love with clothes because his dress-sense was topnotch.
The Afrobeat singer made this known while speaking in a new documentary produced by YouTube Originals.
Speaking in the documentary, Wizkid talked about the influence his father has on him and how his love for fashion and clothes stemmed from his father.
The self-acclaimed “Star Boy” said his father was never never caught ‘unfresh’ as he was “always looking jiggy and fresh”. “My father was the first person that made me fall in love with clothes”, he noted.
Speaking further, Wizkid promised the crew that he will bring two photos of his father that has never been in the public eye to his next shooting with YouTube Originals.
According to him, the photos perfectly captured his father’s great fashion sense which he described as Kingly.
