Abeokuta- National Association of Nigerian Students NANS Ogun State axis has commenced the executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun over appointment of Prof. Arigbabu as Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology.

According to the press statement signed by Comr. Bamgbose Tomiwa,Chairman NANS OGUN JCC, It is imperative for us as an association not just to congratulate the newly-nominated Commissioner of Education-designee in our dear Ogun State but to also commend the willingly working Governor of the State for listening to the voice of reason by nominating an educationist per excellence for such critical Ministry such as education.

It is on record that the leadership of the association in the State have earlier called on the State Governor to see it as a matter of urgency and necessity appointing a Commissioner for Education as the Ministry form a core for any government that intend to make progress 'cause the youths have the highest population in the society and there is a need to pay critical attention to the educational sector so as to guarantee a better and secured future for them.

Without mincing words or being hypocritical, the newly-nominated Commissioner of Education-designee is a worthy officer for that post as he has in few years displayed his effectiveness in managing the affairs of the academia and we do hope as an association that his nomination shall be sealed by the State House of Assembly.
