OGIC is changing the narrative in the real estate business sector in the city of Abeokuta, bringing luxury, affordability, and uncommon value to the industry,
This affirmation was made by the participants at the just concluded real estates sector summit on Saturday the 12 of September,2020 tagged OGIC Exposition and Training, it will be however noteworthy that Olageospatial Global Investment Company, OGIC is a new real estate company in the city.
The convener of the summit, Mr Fasina Olajide Paul hinted that the programme's primary aim is to expose and train Realtors to understand the art of selling properties and closing high tickets deal and also to give the opportunity to forge a partnership that leads to wealth creation with them
While giving his speech, the first speaker at the event,Mr Oyenekan Victor observed that a lot of Realtors are either misinformed or lack the actual real estate knowledge,which lead clients to being defrauded eventually, he admonished real estate practitioners to build relationships with their potential clients rather than bent on selling properties alone.
This opinion was also seconded by another speaker,Mr Ojikutu Olusola who offered that to earn in real estate you have to prospect your client and follow up.
In another lecture given by Mr Ayo Obisesan,he posited Estate consultants should not see initial objections from prospective clients as a problem,but rather perceive it as an avenue to sensitize, convince and in them the confidence that their expectations will be met.
Another speaker at the summit, Miss Cynthia Otuonye stressed that selling lands and properties is highly challenging, since it's unmovable unlike other goods. she however affirmed that digital marketing is the best option for Realtors with the aim of selling and closing high tickets deal.
The organizer of the event and the CEO of OGIC, in the course of the programme invited Realtors in the town to partner with him ,with the assurance that he is a result oriented person and a catalyst who have put in place a reward system that ensures that partner consultants are enumerated handsomely for their services, he stressed that success is all about leveraging.
The Estate developer also Hinted about one of the ongoing projects, Igbalode Hotel ,which is expected to have a swimming pool at the top of the building. the very first of its kind.
The high point of the event was the presentation of cheques to outstanding Realtors and partners who have made commendable sales in the last few months.
Mr Ojikutu Olusola who came first went home with the cheque of 1 million Naira, followed by Mr Banjo Oluwasegun who pocketed a cheque of nine hundred and twenty five thousand Naira and Mr Ogunsile Ayo who parted with three fifty thousand Naira cheque.
Some of the participants and friends of the organization at the summit scored the event and it's organizers higher,among them are Barrister Taiwo Olawale Owolabi ,who admitted he was really astonished by the valuable presentations ,while Miss Veronica Pious believed the programme is just right for Realtors and budding estate managers who have no previous idea on how to go about their trade effectively.
Some of the notable people that graced the event include, Alex Dairo,a seasoned media consultant ,Hon. Tolulope Karounwi, Barrister Taiwo Olawale Owolabi among others.
Meanwhile,the convener of the summit re-established that the essence of the meeting is to make the business very viable and promised that the programme will be a continuous one .
