Uproar As Truck Drivers Clashes With Traffic Compliance Officers In Ogun

Abeokuta - Tragedy struck in the early morning of Tuesday as the truck drivers chased the official of Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency TRACE off their duties following the death of one of their colleague.
The attack was as a result of death of one of the truck drivers who was said to have killed yesterday along Abeokuta-Sagamu road by overspeeding driver after beating the Covid-19 task force officers along Oke-mosan around 12:15am of Tuesday morning. 

The over speeding truck was said to have hit the motor boy dead after he was on the road pleading for release after admitting to have violated the Covid-19 curfew imposed by the Government of Ogun State. 
According to eye witness who pleaded on anonymity told Amebo correspondent that the truck drivers and owners loaded themselves in the truck and started chasing the traffic compliance officers away at their duty posts in every posts in Ogun state capital, Abeokuta today. 
When contacted the TRACE, state command's public relations officer, Comander Akinbiyi, he narrated the level of damage of the suspected truck owners and drivers caused to the command, saying almost all impounded vehicles was damaged by the thugs in Headquarter of the agency and the Abeokuta offices.

  1. I still don't know why these clueless agency keep on chasing motorists and riders when when the duo violated traffic rules. I think it is high time government stood up to correct all these
