Toyin Afolayan was born on September 24, 1959. She became popular in the year 1995 after she acted in the film titled ‘Deadly Affair’ as ‘Madam Adisa’.
Lola Idije is also an aunt to Nollywood actor, Kunle Afolayan and a mother figure to many Nollywood actors and actresses.

Toyin Afolayan lost her husband few years back and the marriage produced three daughters. But she decided not to remarry because of her children.
