Today, in company of my team, I visited farms and food production and processing locations in Ifo and Ewekoro Local Government Areas of Ogun State during the free hours of the lockdown period. I am excited by the potentials of our farmers to contribute to Food Security in this particular period and thereafter.
Interestingly, I ran into the foremost Farmer and Father of Operation Feed the Nation (OFN), Former President, His Excellency, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, in his Yam Farm; Big enough to be noticed!
Then, I paid a visit to Kabiyesi of Ibogun, in company of His Excellency, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, who treated me to a wonderful reception in his Ibogun Country Home.
What a privilege!
