The Olota of Otta and Arole Iganmode Ogunfunminire, HRM Professor Adeyemi Obalanlege, has observed with utmost concern, the increasing wave of coronavirus across the globe.

According to the press statement signed by Prince Adeyemi S. Olusesi 
Personal Assistant to His Royal Majesty, Olota of Otta, 'His Majesty wishes to appreciate the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun and his team for the timely  intervention in preventing the spread of the virus in the State.'

Sequel to this, the Palace is hereby shut and all socio-cultural activities are hereby suspended. This is to further complement the efforts of the State Government in preventing the spread of the deadly virus.

Alayeluwa hereby charged all and sundry to, at this moment restrict their movements only to important places with caution and to comply fully with the preventive guidelines as stipulated by health organizations cum washing of hands, Social distancing, face masking, hand sanitizing and most importantly obeying the stay at home order by the government.

The palace advise anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 to report to the designated centres.
