Governor Abiodun Sends Judiciary Commission Nominees To Assembly For Confirmation

Gov. Dapo Abiodun of Ogun on Friday sent the names of nominees to fill the existing vacancies in the State Judicial Service Commission to the State House of Assembly for confirmation .

Mr Olakunle Oluomo, the Speaker, read the governor’s letter conveying the names of the nominees during plenary in Abeokuta on Friday.

According to the letter, the nominees included former member, Ogun House of Assembly during the 8th legislature, Mr Aina Akinpelu, others are Joel Soyinka, Yetunde Adesanya and Sola Elegbeji.

The speaker, thereafter, asked the nominees to appear before the Assembly today by 2pm for screening with 30 copies each of their Curriculum Vitae and other credentials.
