Not more than 21 contestants were screened in the Miss Congienality Nigeria audition held on Thursday, at the Mitros Hotel, in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital.
The audition, which is an avenue to decide those who have participate at the final beauty contest which would hold on February 14, 2020.
While speaking to journalists on reason behind the contest, the Originator of the Contest, Feyisara Olaotan said it was to empower all ladies in the State and also outside and also to shapen the entertainment world.
"Out of all the contestants, the qualified ones will be on ground and then we will look for some other ones, that is for those that are not in Ogun State but are close to the State and are really interested in contesting, we will pick the remaining number from an online audition. The grand finale is until February 14, 2020" she said.
According to her, they just want the government's support as to promote modeling in the State, as it is still far behind, adding that it is a dream that must be fulfilled in the State.
Meanwhile, according to one of the Organisers and a representative of the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Olamide Lawal, said that government is ready to support and empower our younger ones and to exploit their talents, and potentials.
"Government as a whole as always prioritize young people, and always trying to showcase their talents and exhibit their potentials, so as a government, as a responsible one, we should always try to support them, and by so doing, we will be empowering the Society" he said
Also, the Organiser, Saheed Adeola, in his admonition said that the pagentry is an avenue for young ones to unravel what they can do and achieve.
He, also added that as part of the Organisers, their mission is to ensure credibility at end of the day which would be done, he promised.
However, one of the contestants, who identified herself as Christiana said that she was excited and happy with the way the audition went, adding that the contest is real and not fake.
