The famous Lagos State chapter Nigerian Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) treasurer, MC Oluomo, who is popularly known for his activeness in politics and his support for the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) is set to become the new boss of the state’s NURTW.
This news has brewed so much excitement among his fans and supporters and has is already buzzing round social media. The MC Oluomo news page on Instagram shared information about the recent development.

The National Union of Road Transport Workers is an independent Nigerian trade union under the Nigerian Labour Congress that serves the interests of transport workers in the road transport sector, by collectively obtaining and pushing for social stability for all workers in the transport sector as defined in its constitution.
The Union has its leadership at the National level, across the states and at the grassroots. The Lagos State Chapter of the Union is about to be led by the one and only socialite , the most popular celebrity in NURTW and someone that make NURTW to be known as profession, Alhaji Musiliudeen Ayinde Akinsanya, better known as MC Oluomo.
The leadership of the Union is geared towards encouraging and supporting members and officials in order to make the Union to be in peace, free for all also appear strong and vibrant.
The Union raises fund through several methods, but the largest of these is through willful support and voluntary contributions by members. The core functions of the union are to protect the rights of workers in the transport sector, promote orderliness and safety on the roads, imbibe the acts of discipline on the road users.
Entry into the Union is voluntary, however dues are expected to be paid because dues collected are used in running the Union and supporting it’s members. The youth wing organises youth programs to educate and sensitise members on effective service delivery and customer relations in addition to good mannerisms.
There is however one man whose popularity, charismatic nature and philanthropic activities has held everyone spellbound in the Lagos chapter. He has towered beyond the several negative tirades launched against him and he is surely heading to the top. The man is no other person than Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya.
