President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday warned that death awaits anybody who foments trouble during the rescheduled general election as he has ordered security operatives to be “ruthless.”
The President made the statement at the All Progressive Congress caucus meeting in Abuja on Monday.
He urged the law enforcement agencies and the military to deal with whoever tries to snatch the ballot box.
Nigerians have reacted to President’s statement.
Did you known anyone who is a political thug or a ballot box snatcher, pls warn them.#SnatchAtYourOwnRisk . pic.twitter.com/j7cmDIUvjN

When federal might, rigging plans and “more money” fails, they resort to blackmail and protest. We know your antics and it won’t work. Akwa Ibom’s Glory must return; #LetsGetNigeriaWorkingAgain

Blood-sucking children of bloodthirsty fathers: where was this #snatchatyourownrisk energy when APC snatched ballot boxes and inflicted violence on the people of Osun just few months ago? Or in Edo?
Or when Fulanis were killed in Zamfara?#APCJungleJustice

Funny thing is, he said the same thing many times before as a candidate.
Dogs and baboons.
Only difference now is that #TyrantBuharihas the force of the Army and Police behind him.
The concept of the rule of law is beyond him. #SnatchAtYourOwnRisk
