2019 Election: APC Distance Self From Attacking Electorates Rumour In Osun

Ahead of the February 16th general election, The All Progressive Congress APC in ile-ife has debunked the statement that is being in circulation telling people that they will be attacked in the forthcoming election by loyalists of Senator Iyiola Omisore during the election period.

According to honourable Rotimi Makinde, the former house of reps. member,  the rumour is being peddled by the opposition in their bid to scare electorates to come out in mass on the election day.

It became necessary to correct unwarranted tension and unguided statement like wildfire in our community.
To say APC and its leadership which includes Senator Iyiola Omisore, Sooko Adewoyin, Engineer Basir Awotorebo, Honourable Rotimi Makinde, Alhaji Sikiru Aiyedun and others planned to unleash terror is not only a false from pit of hell but a calculated attempt to smear their names. No APC and its coalition is blood thirsty. We therefore appeal that the electorates should troop out in mass to cast their votes on Saturday 16th of February for the APC candidates.

He hereby urges the people of ile-ife and its environment to come out in mass with their permanent voters card to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari for continuity.
