Adebutu Laments Poor State Of Health Sector Under SIA Government

The Gubernatorial hopeful under the People's Democratic Party PDP who is also the house of representatives member representing Remo Federal Constituency,  Honourable Adebutu during an interactive session in the state capital, Abeokuta has frowned bitterly at the state of health in Ogun State. 

According Adebutu, the abandonment of so many community health veterans and inadequate health facilities in Ogun State is nothing to write home about, as he bitterly complained about the neglection by the state government.

"i want an improvement in health sector, we have good medical personnel in Ogun State but since there is no reward, many of them left the county for greener pasture, all this must stop." said Adebutu. 

He however urged the medical practitioners to be proud of their profession and put God first in their daily activities, citing Agricultural as one of his area of concentration in Ogun state when he emerge as the Governor come 2019. Also, he laud the health workers to be sure of every other sectors shall be touched  he becomes the Governor. 

"I’m proud to call myself a farmer anywhere i go, I started with just 200 pigs and i have more than 20,000 pigs and now and my farm is one of the biggest in Africa. Ladi Adebutu boasted."

One of the doctors threw important question to the Honourable Ladi Adebutu  that Ogun state have not employed single health workers since emergence of Senator Ibikunle Amosun , asking how this can you corrected to avoid repetition. Hon Ladi while reacting to the question said i know some of you here took a high risk because we invited some but they are not here because they think someone will sanction them. But by 2019 things will change when i get to office, adequate facilities and enough workers will be employed and all health workers will get their wages and salaries at the appropriate time, I will also work on trainings to improve the skills of our workers because I believe in retooling and training.

Another Nurse ask the Honourable what his government will do to people living in Ogun waterside Local Government most especially those ones living on the water like ode omi and other areas on the water, she ask how can he achieve this with the current debt of the present Government.

Honorable responded, we are going to restructure the debt, people that know me very well knew I’m a grassroot man, I have touched all this area times without numbers and i will make sure health care and other facilities will be available in this communities.

Peoples Democratic Party PDP Chairman in Ogun State, Honourable Sikirulai Ogundele in his appreciation message give kudos to Honourable Adebutu describing him as the man that is fit to govern Ogun State, he said PDP is our party and we have plans on giving the people of Ogun State good Governance.

The event was well attended by large numbers of Doctors, Nurses , Community Health Workers and Pharmacists in Ogun State.
