The aspirant of member of house of Assembly in Abeokuta North constituency,a contractor cum politician, Honorable Taiwo Oludotun was honoured with a national award as "icon of humanity" by Irewolede Planks Sellers and Wood Work, Lafenwa Abeokuta branch yesterday.
The award was presented to Honorable Taiwo Oludotun by Honorable Lanre Jaji based on his unrelenting efforts in moulding the youths and for his meritorious service to humanity.
According to the chairman of the Organizing committee, Comrade Adeyemi Azeez who described Oludotun as a man of integrity and national asset based on his usual anticipation of love to the youths and aged in all honesty.
Meanwhile, our correspondent met with the awardee who appreciates the association for deeming it fit to honour him with the award, he advised the association never to relent in holding their meeting and seminars regularly to promote unity among themselves.
Oludotun, who charged the association executives to incorporate cooperative society, and insurance company to manage their life's and properties also to get loan for its members who are not financially buoyant in terms of capital.
He gave kudos to Senator Ibikunle Amosun for the ongoing projects in Ogun State, also berate the federal government for misconception of information on herdsmen attack on the farmer and advises the federal government to put necessary security measures to place to protect lifes and properties of the farmers as well as give them more encouragement to embark on farming system by providing farm machineries and distribution of fertilizer to boost their farm produce.
