According to the newly released forecast, Nigeria population has rises to 193.4 Million from 140 Million as at the last census in 2006.
And the states with most population is Kano, 13Million followed by Lagos state at 10 Million, Kaduna at third with 8.5 Million people, Oyo with 8Million and Katsina at fifth with 7.9 Million people.
Although there is an argument that Lagos state has a population over 20 Million but according to NPC and NBS, Lagos state is second behind Kano state.
