Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, on Friday participated in the screening exercise conducted by the National Working Committee (NWC) Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for aspirants seeking elective positions under the platform of the party.
The screening exercise, held at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja, forms part of the party’s internal process ahead of the forthcoming elections. Governor Abiodun appeared before the committee as an aspirant for the Ogun East Senatorial District seat.
Speaking after the exercise, Governor Abiodun expressed appreciation to the leadership and stakeholders of the APC for their continued support and confidence in his aspiration. He reaffirmed his commitment to quality representation, grassroots development, economic growth, and sustained progress for the people of Ogun East Senatorial District.
The governor also reiterated his dedication to the ideals and progressive vision of the APC, assuring party faithful and residents of Ogun East of his readiness to continue serving with responsibility, experience, and integrity.
