The Reigning Monarch of the United Kingdom of Atlantis (UKA), Emperor Solomon Winning, has renewed his appeal for former U.S. President Donald Trump and the United States government to respect Nigeria’s sovereignty, saying that the stability of nations is rooted in mutual respect and dialogue — not coercion or interference.
Speaking on the global responsibility to honor national independence, the Monarch highlighted that Nigeria, a nation rich in culture, faith, and diversity, must be allowed to handle its internal challenges without external pressure disguised as security concern.
“Nigeria is a sovereign nation with the right to determine its own destiny,” Emperor Winning said. “International law protects this right, and moral responsibility demands that powerful nations respect it.”
He acknowledged that global conversations often arise around issues such as terrorism, religious tensions, and security in West Africa. However, he stressed that these concerns must never be used as justification for undermining Nigeria’s territorial integrity.
“There are global concerns about terrorism and the protection of religious communities — including Christians in Nigeria,” the Emperor noted. “But any genuine concern must be expressed through respectful dialogue, cooperation, and partnership with Nigeria — not through threats, force, or attempts to dictate national affairs.”
The Monarch insisted that peaceful diplomacy, intelligence sharing, and partnership are the only acceptable foundations for international engagement on security issues.
“If the United States or any world power wishes to support Nigeria in the fight against extremism, the path must be dialogue and collaboration — never gunfire or interference,” he emphasized. “Great nations lead by building bridges, not by imposing their will.”
He added that religious diversity must be treated with sensitivity, saying Nigeria’s internal religious balance requires understanding rather than external agitation.
“Nigeria has Christians, Muslims, and traditional believers living side by side,” he said. “It is our duty to protect every citizen — Christian, Muslim, and all others. No foreign power should exploit religion to influence our sovereignty.”
Calling on Trump and future American administrations to adopt peaceful engagement, Emperor Winning concluded:
“Nigeria’s voice matters. Our sovereignty matters. Let cooperation replace suspicion and respect replace interference. The world must move forward with peace, dignity, and diplomacy.”
