Today, 5th September 2025, the Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Adesina Adisa, joins the rest of the world in celebrating the dedication, resilience, and impactful work of teachers on this year’s World Teachers’ Day.
Hon. Adesina acknowledges teachers as the backbone of every progressive society, the builders of knowledge, values, and responsible citizens. He commended their selfless sacrifices, especially those in remote and underserved areas of Ewekoro, who continue to nurture young minds despite limited resources.
In his words, A society that values its teachers invests in its future. The role of teachers in nation-building cannot be overemphasized. As a government, we remain committed to supporting education and improving the welfare of teachers across our local government.
He also urged parents, and communities to collaborate in supporting teachers and ensuring a better learning environment for students.
