Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu will today commission 420 newly completed housing units at the Lagos State Housing Estate, Ajara Phase 1, Badagry, as part of efforts to address the state’s housing deficit.
The Lagos State Government stated that the project, featuring one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, will accommodate over 2,000 residents and boost the local economy.
Commissioner for Housing Moruf Akinderu-Fatai, speaking during a Tuesday media chat, emphasized that the initiative reflects Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to delivering affordable, quality housing and completing ongoing projects statewide.
He expressed gratitude to prospective homeowners for their patience and urged them to contact the Ministry’s Estate Department at Block 3, Secretariat, Alausa, for inquiries, warning against engaging unauthorized agents.
The commissioning marks a significant step in enhancing housing access in Lagos.
