To assist the state government in curbing the insecurity in the state capital, The former house of representatives, Abeokuta South federal consistuency, Hon. Lanre Oladapo Edun has facilitated One Hundreds Solar Street lights to Isale Abetu, Laderin, Oke—Ijeun and other areas in Abeokuta South area of Ogun state.
Hon. Lanre Edun while speaking with Amebo Newspapers NG. shortly after the installation said, he is happy to provide street lights to Abeokuta South federal constituency being his country home, their is an adage which says, "Charity Begins at home" he said he is delighted the street lights will reduce the night workers activities and curb social vices in many communities in Abeokuta South.
The street lights start work at around 7pm in the evening making the area where it is installed to be more brighter to reduce attacks from the unknown.
Meanwhile, he said he will continue to facilitate projects that will benefit the people of Abeokuta South federal constituency directly from the Federal Government with his connections.
Speaking with one of the Comminity Development Association representative, somewhere in Isale Abetu, Alhaji Ismael appreciated the good gesture of Hon. Lanre Oladapo Edun, noting that he is selfless to human kind for remembering them at appropriate time when their belongings are no more safe from the thieves.
He prayed for Gods love and protection for the honorable for remembering them and deeming it necessary despite not in government to provide them the solar street lights.
