Ambassador Elvis Akpobi, Immediate Past Special Assistant to Governor on Youths and Nigerian Ambassador (YPLS) has congratulated his former boss, His Excellency Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, the immediate past Governor of Delta State.
In a statement issued by Amb Akpobi on Saturday 8th July 2023 in Asaba the Delta State Capital, he described Senator (Dr) Okowa as the father of modern day Delta State. In a very emotional paragraph of the statement, Amb Akpobi recounts with nostalgia the very lofty initiatives of the Former Governor which gave youths greater opportunity for participation in governance and administration.
Amb Akpobi adds that Senator (Dr) Okowa is provided him the avenue as the then Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Development to acquire experience and tact which led to the birth or the Not Too Young To Lead Initiative which he now leads as Executive Director.
Amb Akpobi wished His Excellency Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa greater years of good health, long life and prosperity.
