Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has warned Leone Stars will make things difficult for his side.
The Leone Stars will entertain the three-time African champions in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia, on Sunday.
The Super Eagles rallied to beat Sierra Leone 2-1 in the reverse fixture last June.
The previous two encounters between both teams ended in a draw.
Peseiro admitted that his players must be at their best to conquer their opponent.
“It will be a difficult game,” the Portuguese stated.
“In the last three matches against Sierra Leone, we drew two and only won the last meeting last year in Abuja.
“Sierra Leone are a good team and they only beat us to stand a chance of qualifying for the AFCON.
“We, therefore, have to be at our best organisation and commitment and play a collective game against them.”
