The former Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Patricia Olubunmi Etteh reiterated the fact that parliamentarians remain one of the most important agents to make a success of any election.These are a set of politicians who have at one time or the other in their political career faced elections and the kind that know how best to mobilize votes for any candidate. According to this three term member of the house of representative and the eventual former speaker, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his vice presidential candidate, Sen. Shetima are candidates to beat. These two refined gentlemen are those we can vouch for, they belong to the body of parliamentarians who have faced people and submitted themselves for election, listened to people and therefore know where the shoe pinches.
All over the world, the parliamentarians are known to be very articulate and good as administrators. These set of people represent our constituency compared to their opponent who have limited experience as politicians.
Rt. Hon Patricia Etteh explained that this is the time for real work, this is the time to fix the nation, and we all owe it a duty to make it work.
