Three pupils of Abule Ojo Primary School has been caught with Closed circuit television, CCTV after stealing from Skylounge Hotels and Suites in Alagbole area of Ogun state yesterday 20th of July, 2022.
The CCTV surveillance camera captured their movement into the hotel and how the three pupils successfully stole from the hotel with full confidence before they were later caught by the security of the hotel.
Inside their bag, an android phone belonging to the staff of the hotel was found alongside another phone which was suspected to have been stolen from another person before they entered the hotel.
The pupils according to our correspondent were from same parent, where the stepmother of the children confirmed that they have been stealing in the home and also admitted they committed the crime after watching the video tape recorded by the surveillance camera.
The hotel where the pupils stole belong to Hon. Rotimi Makinde, a veteran Nollywood actor and former house of representatives, Ife federal constituency, the parents was seen on the video pleading heavily for forgiveness alongside the neighbourhood.
Amebo Newspapers NG, when contacted Hon Rotimi Makinde, the reknown hospitality guru, he was full of praises to the Ogun State police policy that every hotel must endeavour to install CCTV in their premises, Saying No one would belive such youths can engage in such devilish act.
"I cant but call on student to be more committed in training their wards.This is how bad our society has become.It therefore requires plenty of responsibility on we all to ensure we make a better society." He maintained.
