The attention of Ndi Uwaoma Foundation has been drawn to the nefarious act of destruction of campaign materials ranging from campaign posters, and billboards of our principal Hon Lady (Mrs) Blessing UwaomaNwokenneya (Onye Uwaoma), the APC candidate for Isiala NgwaSouth Constituency in the coming 2023 general election.
This act of primordial antics is very primitive and capable of heating up the polity.
We therefore warn that politicians who claim to be popular with the people should desist from touting and thuggery as election is not a do or die affair and no amount of destruction of campaign materials will remove the love and acceptability for the Amazon, Lady Blessing Uwaoma Nwokenneya in the hearts and minds of Ndi Isiala Ngwa South.
This act if not checked will be resisted to its fullest.
Those who think that election today with the introduction of BVAS is still the election of 2015 where intimidation,thuggery and ballot box snatching were at its fullest should wakeup and face the reality that in 2023 election, votes will count.
Lady Blessing Uwaoma Nwokenneya is a rare brand and cannot be intimidated. Her experience both in public and private sector, competence, integrity and acceptability have endeared her to her people.
We therefore urge the general public to be aware of these personal attacks as a word is enough for the wise.
