Residents of Kuto in Abeokuta area of Ogun state had a sight of relief on Tuesday as a Federal House of Representatives hopeful, Balogun Afeez Olaniyi did parliative work on the bad portions of the road leading to the popular Kuto Market.
The parliative measure was a response to the cry of motorists, okada riders and traders operating in the area for immediate rehabilitation of the road.
Balogun who is aspiring to representative Abeokuta South at the House of Representatives explained that bike men and Motorists plying the road cried to him for intervention each time he drives pass the axis, hence his prompt response.
He further stressed that the peoples pangs propelled him to deployed his team to immediately fix the portholes on the road.
Balogun who cautioned the jubillating residents while being praised, insisted that the parliative work be ascribed to his principal, governor Dapo Abiodun.
He said governor Abiodun is committed to satisfying residents of the state, adding that the administration would ensure the fulfilment of all its promises.
His words "All that I have done here today must be ascribed to my boss, governor Dapo Abiodun who is committed to meeting the needs of the good people of ogun state.
"As you all know, governor Abiodun has promised to complete all abandoned roads and make life better for all of us in Ogun state, this, the governor is committed to.
A motorists in the area, Akeem Olatunji described Balogun as a of the people, adding that he desired the emergence of Balogun in 2023.
"We are happy today that Hon. Balogun helped us fixed this road and we pray he gets to Abuja next year to represent us. This is truly a man of the people. To out great surprise, while were praising him for what he did, he said we should ascribe it to God and governor Abiodun.
