Mrs. Adeola Azeez, lawyer and banking professional with over three decades of international experience, has disclosed plans to facilitate private investments aimed at growth and development in Ijebu Central Federal Constituency following fruitful partnership discussions with leading multinational companies like Dangote, Nestle, Cadbury, and Google among others.

She made this known at the empowerment program she sponsored in commemoration of this year’s International Women’s Day held on Tuesday in Ijebu Ode.6

Over 300 women, drawn from across the three local goverments of the federal constituency, received cash grants and relief materials under the Adeola Azeez Community Care Foundation (ACCF) initiative.

According to Adeola Azeez, she founded ACCF as a means to deploy her vast experience and network built from her professional engagements across the globe in the development of Ijebuland through key investments that would provide jobs and stimulate economic growth, especially in local communities with a large population of vulnerable people.

She revealed ongoing discussions with leading multinationals who have expressed readiness to partner with the ACCF as part of their CSR contributions by investing in communities across Ijebu Central.

Established political sources revealed that Adeola Azeez is vying to represent Ijebu Central federal constituency at the House of Representatives and the announcement of the planned investment collaboration with private industry leaders has strengthened the confidence of her supporters that the banking expert will bring her vast network to bear in delivering dividends of democracy to the constituency.

Adeola, the daughter of Pa Ayo Adebanjo, one of Nigeria’s foremost leaders and Afenifere chieftain is a leading voice for good governance and many have expressed optimism that if she clinches the ticket and goes on to win the general election, she will deliver quality representation to the people of Odogbolu, Ijebu-Ode and Ijebu North-East.

A woman of many parts, she worked for over 30 years at Deutsche Bank, a leading global financial institution. She is currently the West Africa Partner at Sigma Risk, an international financial organization. She also co-founded WIMBIZ, Nigeria’s leading non-profit organization for professional women, in 2002.
