The Traditional Council Takes Action Against Queen Naomi for refusing to return to the palace of the Ooni of Ife.

 Following Prophetess Seyi Naomi's refusing to return after publicly announcing her separation from the traditional ruler, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ile Ife traditional council has allegedly decided to wash her aura from the Ooni of Ife's palace.

This rite, similar to that of 'Oro,' involves the spiritual cleaning of the palace of unwelcome people and spirits. Simply said, Naomi's flame will never flare again in the Giesi royal dynasty. She is never a queen, only the mother of Ooni of Ife's Prince.

On December 23, 2021, Queen Naomi stated that she was no longer Ooni's wife, This was revealed in a statement on her verified Instagram account.

Despite her lauded "enduring endeavors" to salvage the union, Queen Silekunola provided various explanations for the failure of her marriage to the Ooni.

As a result of the argument in the palace, Naomi fled, and she was notably absent at the coronation anniversary celebrations. Unlike other wives and chiefs, she even declined to post a celebratory message on social media for the Ooni.
