Breaking: Adedoyin Resigns As VGN Image Maker

In what seem to be a twist of event ,the National Public Relations of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) Nureni Olanrewaju Adedoyin has resigned his appointment as the National Public Relations Officer.

Adedoyin who dropped the hint, through a release made available recently stated that the resignation is unavoidable offering that the constitution of the outfit does not recognise the office of the National P.R.O which he presently occupied.

During phone conversation with our reporter, Adedoyin affirmed why he did not reject the appointment in the beginning, he said “I believed that there will be amendment of the constitution at the time but up till now nothing has been done to amend the constitution to back it up. I also believed we can not continue to use illegality to correct illegality”

He argued that “it will be unconstitutional for me to keep playing that role when it’s not backed by the VGN constitution but I still remain VGN personnel and a former state commander”

He however make a call for the office of the National public relations Officer to be entrenched in the security outfit’s constitution for future recognition.
Adedoyin also in the statement appreciated the management for the opportunity given to him to serve in all appointed offices..

The release partly read:-

“Having gone through the constitution of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria recently,I found out that there’s no provision for the office of the National public relations officer in the constitution guiding the operation and administration of VGN ,this no constitutional backing for anything I do or had done.

It is in this line that I humbly tender my resignation letter as the National Public Relations Officer of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria.
