A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Abia State, and the General Overseer of Faith International Bible Church Worldwide, Ambassador, Bishop Dr. Emeka Nwankpa has bagged an award of Best Agricultural Development Sponsor of the Year 2021.

The Award which is in recognition of the various agricultural supports, Amb. Bishop Dr. Nwankpa has rendered to indigent people, among others was presented to the philanthropist on Wednesday by The Concerned Youth Empowerment Association of Nigeria, based in Abuja in collaboration with the with the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural together with FCT Secondary Education Board.


Presenting the Award to Bishop. Dr. Nwankpa, who was represented by Don Uche, the National Chairman, The Concerned Youth Empowerment Association, Comrade Noble Adaelu, stated that the meritorious award, is in recognition of Dr. Nwankpa's philanthropic gestures.

He said the Association has followed and received testimonies from indigent persons, whom Bishop Nwankpa have changed their fortunes, stressing that their eloquent testimonies is a confirmation that the cleric has indeed impacted humanity.

Comrade Adaelu, urged Amb. Bishop Dr. Nwankpa not to relent in rendering support to those in dare need of it, stressing that the society needs people like him to keep hope alive.

Responding, the representative of Bishop Nwankpa, Don Uche, appreciated the Association for finding him worthy of the award. He said as Nigeria is facing daunting challenges especially as a mono economy ensuing from the fall of the price of oil globally, it has become imperative, to encourage people to take up agriculture as an escape root.

He used the opportunity to call on the youth, to embrace agriculture fully, adding that the era of over reliance on readily available white collar jobs was over, pledging that he will continue to render agricultural support to those in dare need of it.
