Abeokuta North APC chairman extends olive branch to aggrieved members

The newly elected Abeokuta North Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaja Faidat Akitunde has extended a hand of fellowship to all aggrieved members of the party to reposition the APC for the 2023 polls.w

Akintunde was elected at the state congress held in Ogun State recently, the at the state capital, on Saturday.

She belongs to the Dapo Abiodun group, whose congress was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was attended by eminent members of the party from the 20 council areas in the state including the Member and former and present house of assembly member among others.

Thanking party members for her election, Alhaja Faidat Akintunde said her victory has put the party on the path, adding with her on the seat the party was sure of capturing the local government in 2023.

Pledging to rebuild the APC in Abeokuta North local government, she appealed to aggrieved members, adding that the doors of the party are open for genuine members.

Adding that the party belongs to everyone, that they should all be loyal to the party, and be proud of being a bonafide members of the party anywhere in the world.
