Ogunsola says the occasion should remind Muslims and all people of faith of the virtues of peaceful coexistence, love and tolerance as taught and lived by the Holy Prophet.
“Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) set clear examples through his life of piety and fervent worship of Allah for all true Muslims to emulate at all times.
“Doing so is particularly important now when these virtues are required for healing our land and strengthening our bond as humans, people of faith and Ogun state people.
“The Local Government and state governments will continue to work assiduously to create the enabling environment for peaceful coexistence and prosperity in Obafemi Owode local government ” Ogunsola says.
In a message made available to newsmen, Ogunsola Lanrewaju Adesina, the Chairman said the life and times of the Holy Prophet were worthy of emulation, hence the need for Nigerian Muslims to emulate him.
Also, he said though Nigeria is facing some challenges at the moment, he noted that with prayers and unity of purpose, the country shall overcome them.
He urged all Nigerians to continue to be vigilant wherever they are as that would help in checkmating insecurity.
Ogunsola, was optimistic that Nigeria and Nigerians would come out stronger.
