The attention of Labour party has been drawn to misleading reports in a section of the media through a false publication that LP is part of plans to form the nucleus of a new mega party.
It is sad and totally disappointing for a crowd of recurring Political dreamers to begin to once again start another new journey of Politics with lies, deceit and deception.
According to the press statement signed by Bar Julius Abure, Labour Party LP, National Chairman, The national leadership of Labour party here by completely deny and strongly dissociates the our party from any kind of talk regarding any new Political Party.
"All the print media in their various publication on Wednesday the 23rd day of September 2021 , went public with a claim that the National Chairman of LP , Bar Julius Abure was part of a dreaming crowd that some other Political floaters plan to form the nucleus of a new mega party." He said.
"Without cross - checking the truth of the story with the LP , The print medium sadly unethically and embarassingly unprofessionally went ahead to publish the lies" he added.
However , he said, it is strongly reiterated to all concerned that Labour Party is not and will never be a part of some Political pretenders in pursuit of a political mirage .
He maintained that, The Labour Party is getting stronger and bigger by the day and we in LP are looking forward to the next series of Elections with great hope .
Having the ideology,programme, and the innovative ideas to provide a pragmative leadership that can harness the human and material resources to reposition the country for greatness.
He therefore advise those behind the new party to join hands with our party to produce the new set of Leaders in the country
