ABEOKUTA — The frontline aspirant in All Progressive Congress APC in Abeokuta South for the post of chairmanship, Comrade Olujimi Adekunle David popular known as DESMOND has warned Hon Omolaja Majekodunmi to stop taking political differences as personal issue.

He said this while responding to Hon Omolaja Majekodunmi over the last publication, "Expression of  disappointment on my person".

According to him, "I want to state categorically that our brotherhood still remains undiluted as well as loyalty but I must express my capacity to perform better than anyone as the chairman of Abeokuta South with my unbeatable exposure and experience." Said Olujimi.

Also, he cleared the air on receiving any funds from anyone for support for chairmanship as he remain resolute in serving Abeokuta South irrespective of the leader's decision through consensus, direct and indirect primaries.

Furthermore, he urged the leaders to arrange their permutation with the fear of God, as he said political differences is what transpired between him and Majekodunmi while the brotherhood still remain intact and unshaken.

"I contested for councilorship in 2011/12 under ACN Americo team, where I spent heavily to the party and when the leader decided on Hon Lanre Edun and Hon Diyan Buhari as their favourite candidate, and they dropped me, I still continued my usual politics without any blame game, leaders should see my action as political differences which anyone can do during election." He said.
"I have been a progressive all my life, I have learnt a lot in politics and I believe with my experience and exposure, both locally and internationally,I will bring a drastic change to Abeokuta South local government." Olujimi added.
He reiterated his unalloyed loyalty to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, The Executive Governor of Ogun state, while he promise to do everything humanly possible to promote the party through the grassroots towards 2023 election
