IWA Surprises His Alma Mata, Builds Modern Toilet For Imo Methodist School

A former member of the Labour Party, Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele, otherwise known as IWA has surprised his Alma Mata by building a modern toilet for IMO METHODIST NURSERY and PRIMARY SCHOOL situated in Oke Yeke in Abeokuta.

IWA, who was the former Labour Party House of Assembly candidate for Abeokuta South constituency II of Ogun State in the 2019 general elections, made this available to journalists through his media adviser Adeyemi Obadimu, On Friday 29th January 2021.

IWA Who was Represented by his father,  Chief Waheed Igbalaye in his speech gave thanks to God for the wisdom He gave his son to give back to his Primary School after he passed out from the school many years ago and he is now the Registrar at ESTG University in Cotonou.









Igbalaye noted that education is very important, while 
Commending the head teachers and the school staff. He advised them to focus more on the pupils as they are the leaders of tomorrow.

'We have Doctors, Lawyers, Governors among the students, so taking proper care of them is very important and God will give them more wisdom to direct them in a right path

' The toilet that was built for them is just a tip of an ice berg as we are still planning to do more things for the school''

He urged them to take proper care of it in other to impress them to do more. 

However the Head Teacher of the School, Mr Sanusi D.A while delivering his speech appreciated Iwa for his generosity.

'it is a privilege to witness the new development in our school because good facilities and infrastructure, a clean and hygienic environment are important
I  give kudos to Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele for building a new block of toilet for the school.

It will also encourage better school attendance which is obviously good for the pupils and the community at large'


In the same vein Mr Soga who is the Education Secretary in Abeokuta South and ably represented by Mr makinde said there is need for people like IWA to rise up in the education sector.

' We need people like IWA in Education sector that will also contribute to our schools,  we appreciate IWA for his humanitarian gesture as the toilet will serve our pupils"

Meanwhile the PTA Chairman of the School in his remarks appreciate IWA and the head teacher of the School for a job well done since his arrival at the school.

Adedokun Adewunmi a primary six pupils prayed for Igbalaye Wasiu Ayodele on behalf of all the students for given them a befitting toilet.
