There was a serious accident at 14:30hrs of today at Saapade axis inbound Ibadan of Lagos/Ibadan Expressway involving 2 vehicles (1)Mercedes Benz car; No. reg. number (2)MAZDA Bus; WDE 836 YE.
The accident according to Traffic Compliance And Enforcement Agency TRACE, The accident was as a result of reckless driving on the part of bus driver and hit the moving car from the rear.
15 people was said to be on board while
4 people (3 male adult and 1 female adult), TRACE, FRSC and Police from Police MTD Ode Remo has rescued injured victims to Idera hospital Gateway Trailer Park.
Traffic inbound Ibadan affected, The two accidental vehicles taken to Police MTD Ode Remo.
Also, on the same road around 1530HRS, there was a reported minor accident at Saapade axis inbound Ibadan of Lagos/Ibadan Expressway involving 1 vehicle with Registration number LND 07 EL .
The driver admitted to brake failure of the vehicle coupled with wet tarred road and rammed to the barrier, no injury was recorded but vehicle crashed.
The affected traffic was professionally handled during recovery by TRACE, FRSC and Police from Police MTD Ode Remo.
