The chairmanship aspirant, Abeokuta South Local Government, Comrade Olujimi Adekunle David popularly known as Desmond has saluted the Agricultural Development Intervention Programmes through the ministry of Agriculture in Ogun state.
The chairman of Power Oil and Gas, said Governor Abiodun has done wonderfully well by making unemployment rate reduced drastically through agricultural practices, " The Governor of Ogun State is indeed trying him best amidst coronavirus pandemic to ensure ogun youths get engagement through farming, aquaculture and other related areas to ensure they have something to fall back in this trial time, I am a strong believer of Governor Abiodun and will always support his mission to make Ogun state a better place for the people through my blueprint if elected as the chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government" he said.
He emphasised on the Ogun field rice at Eggua, Yewa North as a wonderful project which encompasses the youths to opportunities through agriculture practices.
Also, he commended the engine room of Ministry of Agriculture in Ogun, Dr Samson Adeola Odedina for his unrelenting efforts in making Ogun State the best among other 35 states in terms of Agriculture.
He appreciated the Former President of Nigeria, His Excellency Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, for the kind words and support to Ogun State Agricultural Agenda, Olubara of Ibara, HRM, Oba Jacob Olufemi Omolade, Onigua of Eggua Land, Oba (Dr) Adeleye Dosunmu for their fatherly gesture towards the betterment of Ogun state.
